View ArticleOur Omaha chiropractors welcome you to Chiropractic Health Clinic, your metro Omaha and Millard area wellness providers located in the Oakview Medical Building. We are a family practice that places a strong emphasis on your personal wellness and on your fast recovery from a personal injury or from pain or discomfort of any type. At Chiropractic Health Clinic, we provide care for personal injury and injury accident patients, as well as helping patients find relief from back pain, pregnancy pains, headache pain, muscle strain, and chronic pain conditions. As an Omaha chiropractic clinic, we focus on the non-invasive holistic types of healing for our patients. We use the newest and most effective types of spinal correction today. Additionally, we work closely with other doctors in our facility to provide the most comprehensive approach to healing and health care possible. Often, total healing plans with include several different types of care to help patients achieve maximum results.
In addition to traditional spinal adjustments, our Omaha chiropractic techniques include Plustar, Tytronics, and several advanced and targeted types of adjustment. With our training in a range of techniques, we are able to customize our care to the specific needs of each patient. From high-tech diagnostic methods to low force forms of adjustments, we are trained to treat a variety of conditions.
PulStar is the diagnostic tool that we use to determine the area of injury. This computerized analysis and treatment hybrid system allows Dr. Eiler to immediately see precisely which area
of your spine needs correction. After the problem area has been identified, the PulStar system can be used to resolve spinal misalignments with a series of quick targeted electrical impulses.
Tytronics is utilized at Chiropractic Health Clinic to perform infrared diagnostics. The Tytronics instrument rapidly performs a scan of the spinal column. During the scan, temperature differentials are measured and then displayed in a graph that the chiropractor and patient can examine. This graph identifies areas of the spine needing immediate attention.
We also are trained in the Thompson technique, the Gonstead technique, the Toggle technique, Distraction techniques, and Palmer Package techniques for injury accident, personal injury, back pain, or any type of pain. We also offer cold laser therapy, traction therapy, and spinal decompression when necessary. Our chiropractors will carefully evaluate your individual case and choose the type of treatments or group of treatment methods that will benefit you the most.
At Chiropractic Health Clinic, we are proud to offer a range of injury accident treatments. When you arrive for a consultation with our chiropractor, you will be put at ease, and we will explain every treatment to you in detail. We want our patients to feel comfortable. Our treatment plans have been successful in helping patients find relief from a variety of symptoms and conditions such as pregnancy pains, headaches, back pain, muscle strain, and injuries . View ArticleIntervertebral disc
This is the soft tissue found between the bones of the spinal column. They help cushion the spine from everyday stress- running, walking, jumping, etc. Through improper posture (i.e., bending forward at the waist and twisting), discs can wear out and degenerate. This can lead to the condition known commonly by the laymen, as a "slipped disc", or a disc herniation.

A subluxation, or the Vertebral Subluxation Complex, is a serious condition identified by its five parts:
Abnormal motion or position of spinal bones:
(Spinal Kinesiopathology) The bones of the spine have lost their normal motion and position. This can restrict your ability to turn and bend. It sets in motion the other four components.
Abnormal nervous system function:
(Neuropathophysiology) Improper spinal function can choke, stretch, or irritate delicate nerve tissue. The resulting nervous system dysfunction can cause symptoms elsewhere in the body
Abnormal muscle function:
(Myopathology) Muscles supporting the spine can weaken, atrophy, or become tight and go into spasm.. The resulting scar tissue can change muscle tone, requiring repeated spinal adjustments.
Abnormal soft tissue function:
(Histopathology) A rise in temperature from an increase in blood or lymph supply can result in swelling and inflammation.. Discs can bulge, herniate, tear; or degenerate. Other soft tissues may suffer permanent damage.
Abnormal function of the spine and body:
(Pathophysiology) Bone spurs and other abnormal bony growths attempt to fuse malfunctioning spinal joints.. This spinal decay, scar tissue, and long-term nerve dysfunction can cause other systems of the body to fail.
